A model built on studies
The game computes each country's economy with relations that economists know and measure, such as the Phillips curve, Okun's law, the fiscal multiplier or the Taylor rule. Each value of the model comes from a published study or from a choice the studio flags as such, and each country starts from its real figures.
A game that explains itself
In the game, each figure is explained where it is shown. There is no manual to read before playing, and a player who knows no economics can follow what their decisions do to their country.
A published model
The studio publishes the game's equations in the documentation, with their parameters, their sources and what they simplify compared with reality. It does so that its readers can find errors in them, which a closed model does not allow.

PREEMINENCE is a geopolitical and macroeconomic simulator. The player takes charge of a real country, sets its taxes and its budget, forms its government and puts laws to the vote, while the rest of the world runs alongside, day after day.
